Been droolin' ovr Dragunovs since I was 10. Now I'm seeing a little money in my future and Gadzooks! I discover the Romak 3s. Sort of a "I can't afford the real thing" Dragunov. Do I go for it or do I wait? It's more for the cool factor than the spliting gnats at 10000 paces thing. I've heard with some tweaking you can get decent accuracy out of a Romak. Experiences anyone?


It looks like the gun I've always wanted, and I get to take it apart to tinker with it? Can it get any better?

Heck, I'd go for it. The 7.62x54mm is a fine cartridge and duplicates the 308/30-06 so you have all the power you need. Haven't tried the Romak but I have a Dragunov Tigr and it is everything you think it is. Cool as all get out! Enjoy!
