I've got one, but mine's called "a .410 shotgun" - it was much cheaper, and works just the same way. :p :)

But honestly, the point of an arrow is to be quiet, so you're kind of defeating that idea with that rig, aren't you? I guess a .22 blank is much quieter, so you get the killing power of an arrow on large game, with the report of a .22; hmmmm. I guess there's some sort of wadding which seals the bore....

I will say I'm very skeptical of their weasal word "projected", as in "projected MV is 400-435". Why do they have to "project" it? Did they not test it even once? If they did, why not just post their actual test numbers? Yeah, we only got 200 fps, but we "project" you'll get twice that. I think they're fibbers.

I read the page, might you be getting "projected" confused with "projectile"?
The arrow in a barrel has been used MANY times in my 410 Mossberg bolt shotgun. Crossbow bolts work best. The nock on an arrow causes splitting of a corbon or wood shaft, only use aluminum:evil:
Heck, I tried to mount a line thrower on it when I was a kid.....

beretta, you're talking about a full load of powder with the shot removed, correct? Not just the primer and wadding? Standard loads or magnum?

I'd imagine if you take the nock off, you'd be in business with carbon arrows.

Hee hee, I envy your childhood. Mine was ok in terms of experimentation, but not nearly THAT cool.

Oops, yes, I am confused - it does say "projectile" velocity, not "projected" velocity...... "Nevermind" [/r. r. danna]

Jiminy crickets - if a .22 blank can push the bolt out at 400 fps, then what speed does a .410 load push it to I wonder?
