Hi, A friend just bought a used Benelli M1 Super 90 12 ga. that has a 3" chambered barrel. Can he change this to a 31/2" chambered barrel. Also we were noticing that this gun has Heckler & Koch on the receiver. Is this gun any more desireable than other Benelli's? Thanks Mac

You cannot use a 3 1/2 barrel for a couple of reasons.
1) Benelli never made a barrel for the M1 that had a 3 1/2 in. chamber
2) The super blackeagle barrel which is 3 1/2 in. is totally different.

Benellis were imported by H&K in the 80's and are worth no more money than a Benelli marked M1.
