Why did I wait so long?

to get a progressive press? I got my Hornady LnL set up and man is it sweet! Any problems I had setting up were of my own making not the fault of the press. Just watching that bin fill up so quickly makes it all worth while. Anybody out there who has been going back and forth on the idea of getting one should make the leap!

What did you migrate from?
I've been using 550's and 650's for a while and I couldn't imagine going back to a single stage press. I don't even own a single stage press anymore.

Good to hear, Mate. The Hornady is a good machine. Hope it serves you well.

I started on a lee turret press. Great machine to learn on but kinda on the slow side. Fortunately all my dies transfer over to the LnL except my lee factory crimp dies which hit the ejector wire on the upstroke.

I just did the same thing. I loaded on a lee turret for 1.5-2 years. It was very functional just not quite as fast as I would like. I have more money than time these days. So about 2 weeks ago I ponied up for a dillon 550b and set that sucker up, and boy its a heck of a lot faster and more enjoyable

Nice/congrats! :) I need a quick-change toolhead press - my Dillon 450 doesn't have interchangeable heads - takes time to screw in everything, etc.

What I'm hating is that i thought I had more than enough components to last me for a long time. I'm burning thru them with this LnL so fast I'm not so sure anymore.

I know that Love/Hate relationship all too well...
