So I am looking around my area for a nice Raging Bull. Not sure if 44 mag would be enough, or should I go all the way and get a 454?

I do not need this type of gun, but I have had my eye on the Bulls for a few years now. Its just something I would like to have for fun. I am sure it would not get shot much (money and pain) but it would be a great addition to the collection.

Any recommendations? 44 mag Raging Bull, or 454? What is the difference in felt recoil? Does the gun's massive weight aid in taiming the recoil?

Either of your choices would be good. I have the 454 and love it.
Plus you can shoot the 45 colt rounds. I have the 6 1/2 inch barrel and I will soon get the 5 incher. Shooting the Cassull rounds is a handful but it sure is fun.
