I have so far gotten a .32 cal frontier, .50 cal Dixie cub( mostly cut for the kids) and am looking for a .50 cal rifle more cut for grown ups. ( won't say how old I am, but can remember things most cannot). I am looking for a rifle, where it's cost won't be an issue ( I have 4 children) ,but one that would work well for Me and it's cost won't my wife go crazy. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I like the looks, features and price of the Trade Rifle.
If cost is an issue, I'd suggest looking in pawn shops right after hunting season is over with. They'll probably have a bunch of them that have been used once (and hopefully cleaned promptly).
I have Lyman Great Plains Rifles and T/Cs of various flavors, and I find that for me, the Lyman feels more natural than the T/Cs, and quality is comparable (although the warranty is not).

I'll give the T/C Hawken a +1. Mine is accurate and trouble free.
