I just got a Taurus Model 617 .357 last week and if the first box down the pipe is any indication this is going to be a great gun to shoot. However, I'll be darned if I can find any kind of IWB holster for it anywhere out here on the web. Anybody know of any decent ones? I really don't want to have to get into the big bucks that a custom job would require. Any information will be much appreciated. Thanks.........

Probably any holster that will fit a Smith 686 snubby will fit the 617. About the same size frame, if I'm not mistaken. One for a Smith 66 might even fit, but may be tight, due to the slightly larger cylinder on the 617.

I believe the 617 requires a holster made for it since it is a seven shot.

Here are a couple:

(click on the gun list link to see the 617 listed. I think FIST will make any holster for the 617 that is designed for it)

I use an Uncle Mikes ccw holster for my 617, although the model escapes me. I just went to the gun shop and started test fitting until I found one.
