I just got a MAC-10 in a trade and have been thinking about trading it for something else. I have been dreaming of a EAA Witness in 10mm for a long time.
I also have been thinking about a 4 or 6 inch .357mag. Anyways what kind of pistol should I try to trade this for? I am open to any ideas.

Mac's are a good range toy, and depending on who made it they can be very reliable and well made guns

If you don't currently have a 4"-6" 357 mag, that's definitely something worth having. Mac10, not so much. If you can get a Ruger or S&W out of the deal, sounds good to me.

Is it an open bolt or closed bolt? That makes a huge difference in value; you might be able to afford both (or close to it).

My vote's for a 10mm... Because that's what I want.:D

i like the 10mm idea also. Very nice round and very reloadable (if ammo $ is a concern). I really like my recently aquired Colt Delta Elite(I know, hidious rear sight, soon to be replaced).

Delta Elite! Now there's a hard find! My father in law has an Elite in stainless that he bought brand new.

He refuses to part with it....imagine that!

Come on scratchy, how bout a pic, or um, maybe the manufacturer of this mac. It's pretty hard to give advice on what you can trade it for when you are withholding all information. Obama called and said to stop being vague.

As a fellow owner of a MAC family product, I'd say spend some quality time with it and think if you really want to let it go. There's something awesome about shooting a brick with a handle sticking out of it. And, with a solid magazine, a MAC can be just as reliable as any other auto.

Military Armament Corporation Stephenville Texas M10A1 9mm/.45acp is what is stamped on the pistol. I only have the 9mm upper/barrel but I do have 4 32 round mags and the fake sionics suppressor and owners manual. I do want to keep it but I already own a norinco ak so I have a shtf piece. I just thought I could trade up to a nice pistol for someone that wants a evil black pistol.

My vote would go to the 10mm. It's a round that always fascinated me with it's versatility and it's potential. Plus you seem to like semi-autos in other firearms.

I just started reloading this summer so ammo is not a problem. I own 2 pistols a PT1911 and a older Charter Arms Undercover in .38spl.
I miss my .357 Taurus Tracker but have had a fascination with high cap 10mm pistols. Something about 15 rounds of 10mm Doubletap in each mag really gets me going.
