Does anyone shoot 150gr charges? Trying to figure out if that will help out my accuracy and distance.

Depending on how far you are trying to shoot 150gr. powder charges are usually not the most accurate loads although do give the most punch in some cases.
My rifle shoots quite nicely with a 80gr. FFFG Goex charge PRB out to 100 yards.

I would agree with voodoochile, I've found with every powder I've tried that you can definitely overcharge a load and dramatically reduce accuracy. It seems to me that the extra speed tends to de-stabilize most bullets, so there is a neutral point, once crossed, causes the projectile to wobble. You can compensate somewhat with heavier, longer bullets - but a 150gr charge with a 400+ grain bullet is gonna leave a mark on the ol' shoulder. :what:
My Knight works best with 80gr of 777 with up to 300gr bullets, 90gr of 777 with 350gr bullets, and 100gr 777 with 400+gr bullets. These are for saboted bullets, pure lead conicals will need 5 to 10 gr less powder as will Powerbelt bullets.

I started out with 150 charges. Alot of flyers. Started backing down and found my particular rifle's sweet load of 100.

100grs of Pyrodex/Black powder and a 240gr XTP will kill deer quite nicely out to 100+ yards. The best shots on deer I've ever made was with this combo.

I use 70 gr of 3Fg and a patched 225 grain .530 round ball. Shoots from the bench at just a little under 4" at 100 yards with iron sights.
Your front sight may be too thick for targets out to 100 yards..., mine was, so I swapped it out for a thin, silver, front blade. Made a huge difference. If you're using a scope, then by all means reduce your load.
They could've made a .50-150 cartridge, but Sharps apparently didn't go beyond the .50-110, and the .45-120. Perhaps they discovered the same problem with their buffalo cartridges that folks overloading find today..., destabilization? (Making an action to take such a cartridge wouldn't have been a problem for the era.)

I have a CVA Kodiak Pro. I just killed two deer last weekend with 150 gr of 777 pellets, and a 295 gr Powerbelt. Both deer dropped within seconds of being hit.
Niether shot was particularly long, but I was in the woods using iron sights anyways.
The trajectory can't be that bad because I hit one of the deer running.
I only shot three times to sight in before the hunt. I was hitting center mass on a paper plate at 50 yards, and that is good enough for deer hunting in thick cover.
