The best place you could possibly meet a THR member this week (or this year for that matter) is on Tuesday morning at the election booth.

My suggestion is to go early if possible. See you there!

I got there at 6:10 and there was already an hour's wait. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time.I got there about the same time. Only had about a 15 minute wait, which is very unusual in my precinct. Never had to wait at all before.

There are three precincts that use the same polling place where I vote. My precinct had a short line, maybe 10 or 15 people. One had no line. One had maybe 50 people in line.

I have never seen more than a dozen voters in the polling place before. usually the election judges outnumber them.

I got to the polls after physical therapy, around 9:45 am. I was voter #343 in the precinct. I had to stand in line for an hour, but did get my vote cast, :D and I even have the "I Voted" sticker. I have to say, I love election day...it gives me the opportunity to talk with other folks who hold passionate views of life.

Edit to add: Knock, knock, knock at the door... Hmmm...exit polsters are driving around to see who voted for whom.

Polster: (Looked at my sticker and said) "Oh good...you already voted!"

Me: I sure did...9:45 am, voter #343, and took me an hour.

Polster: Did you vote for the right candidate?

Me: I sure did, I voted for my candidate.

Polster: Puzzled look...

Me: McCain and Palin!

Polster notes the vote, thanks me for voting and leaves.

Hahaha! Heck if I know. Sometimes my fingers get ahead of my brain. If I ever meet an "exist" pollster, I'll be sure to post a picture. :neener:

This was my first election where I got to vote. I enjoyed the experience. Colorado's ballot was epic from what I gather. Good to see most the amendments are getting the "No" vote.

I hope the next four years are better then the last. Looks like I am going to have to get a stamp of Udall's address, because I am going to have to be writing him constantly to tell him how disappointed I am in his voting record :barf:.

PS Electoral College? Really? Pop. vote w/in 5% yet a landslide? System needs to be fixed or taken out. If we know what the pop. vote is, why not just use it (yes that means Al would have won in 2004)?
