I'm new, so "bear" with me. I have a 1911-A1, SS frame (appears to be a Colt) with a Springfield Armory slide (blue). The SN on the right side begins with the prefix "FG". Does anyone know and/or can anyone help to verify if this is a Colt frame?

An "FG" prefix followed by five digits would usually mean a blue (not SS) Colt government model series 80 vintage frame. Are there any other markings on the frame?
