I recently picked up two cva kit pistols. They are both assembled (poorly) and I will be redoing them. One I believe is a target model 50 cal flint, the other may be a plains pistol 50 cal flint but I am not sure. Does anyone have a pic or link that I can use to verify this?
Thanks Brett.

CVA sidelock pistols have been discontinued and they were in business for many years including when they were located in CT before moving to Georgia.
Can you post pictures?

Here are some pics of my old CVA kit pistols from the 70's (that's 1970's); perhaps these will help:

Yes I do the mountain pistol is the one I have, along with a larger target pistol, Does your Mountain pistol have a belt hook on the left side?
Brett.

They also made a Hawken with a flat butt with an oval brass plate on it, brass forend cap. I built one.
