I've seen on eBay several auctions for Invisiblesight AN/PEQ-2 patterned visible laser & light combos. I was kicking around the idea of getting the green laser variant to put on a PS90 but don't want to waste money on junk. Anyone know if these are any good? Thanks in advance!

The military AN/PEQ-2 version does not have a visible laser on it, however if you are talking about civilian variants, they can include visible laser options. You can read a little bit about it here:

I don't know how they would hold up for normal use but, we turn in 6-10 a month mostly due to not being able to zero correctly, or dropping it's zero.

This year the Army has upgraded the SOPMOD kits to include the new PEQ-15, this model features both a visible and IR laser and is half the size.

Unless you have a pair of night vision goggles I'd say save your money and just buy a regular rail mounted laser for considerably less money. Just my opinion.

Interesting. I was looking at the visible laser variant but you do have a good point. I was hoping to have the whole unit as one (light & laser) but didn't want to go the route of having something that wide on the side of my PS90. I guess I'll stick with the Uni-Max green laser & separate light.

You could do what I do and just use modified Speedo goggles with empty toilet paper rolls taped to the eyepieces and slink around your house making laser noises with your mouth.

Much much cheaper.

Sounds too much like a costume from a Devo video... Though I'm *sure* it works like a champ, though!
