Get out there and buy a Beretta, guys!

Beretta donated $1 million to the NRA recently. Let's reward them by buying some of their stuff. I bought some Beretta clothing today, and am trying to figure out if I can justify "needing" one of their guns.

I can't afford a $600 handgun right now, but I'm going to make a strong effort to look for a t-shirt I like.

I would if I liked their guns more. I'll see about buying a hat or something to show my appreciation. A similar story with Ronnie Barrett and Hawaii, explaining why my forehead is currently advertising his company for free.

Way to go Beretta! If that Cooper fellow is now looking for a job, let him know Beretta probably isn't an option. :)

Buying apparel from a chain or mom and pop store helps Beretta the same right? Is it better to order from Beretta's official website or does that just cost more? Regardless, I'd sport a t-shirt.

I'd like to buy an extractor for my NEOS, but they always seem to be out of stock.

Yes it would, since it ultimately comes from the same source. They're either receiving direct money, or money from licensing their name. Either way, its definitely a show of support.

They do make a Beretta 92 with a polymer frame, it's called the 90-Two.
Put me down for one! and a Carbine too!

I really want a Beretta tomcat but I want it in pink. I'd love to make that little pussy purr by running some hot rounds through it. Meow!

I'm not touching that one...

Try the PX4-Storm pistol.
It's a really fun little gun to shoot, and you can adjust the backstrap so it will fit larger or smaller hands easily.
I absolutely love mine.

Thanks for the heads up on this.

I might suggest that in addition to purchasing an item from Beretta it would be prudent to let them know why you are purchasing said item. Otherwise the company has no way to separate your actions from somebody who simply purchased something as a matter of routine. For the act of purchasing a Beretta product to be really effective the company needs to understand the connection between your decision to purchase and their positive action of the NRA donation.

There may be a comments section on the Beretta order form, or an even better method would be to take a couple minutes and send them a thank you email via a contact address on their website.

I'm pretty good at letting a supplier know when I'm unhappy with their product or their action, but I'm not so disciplined when it comes to letting them know when I'm happy with their product/action.

$1 million is a drop in the bucket to Beretta.

Do you know another gun manufacturer who donates more than a 'drop in the bucket'? Does $1m not greatly help the NRA?

No matter the percentage of their total profit, I feel they greatly helped the RKBA movement, so I will do my best to reward them. Heck, I don't know of any gun shops around that make a point to donate to RKBA organizations at all.

Thanks Beretta!

the ninety-two has a polymer frame.

Not quite, the 90-two has a changeable polymer grip but an alloy frame. For polymer look at the PX series.

If their 380's weren't so over-priced according to the 92's and 96's and PX4's I would have had one a long time ago. I love my 92 and am getting ready to have it refinished.

So people like to jump on Smith and Ruger for selling us out but when another manufacturer actually does something to benefit shooters, people made snide remarks about the amount or their products?

Huh. Well, I guess you gotta get 5,000 posts somehow.

we should take the time to write a letter to Beretta. as well as other manufacturers who haven't sent any money to the nra, something along the line. I was looking buying firearm x and firearm y and went with y b/c they donated to the NRA that fights for our rights to own firearms, they might remember who they make their money off of.

The Cheetah pistols are worth every penny. Nicest .380's made. I had no problem dropping almost $600 on my Inox 84FS

I'd love them to make a long slide ploymer or steel frame pistol. Think a solid slide Brigadier ,or a longer PX4....I know,I know;never happen any time soon;but if cash becomes more "spendable ' for me....

I just got back from their website and found out their make cowboy guns. And that Buntline Special is real tempeting.
Hey, heres an idea if your going to not buy a Beretta, call up every other manufacturer, and challage them to match or bet Beretta's give. Feel free to remind them, that Beretta is an Ilatian company and their are American companies and their shouldnot let them out give them. These calls should be by phone, letter is ok but postcard is better, email, and any other way could can think of to get the message to them, including word of mouth.

the 92 has a metal frame, the ninety-two has a polymer frame. They're two different pistols.

you are wrong. the GRIPS on the 90-two are polymer. the FRAME is metal. i had one, i know. the polymer only covers the frame to allow for different sized grips. if you don't believe me call beretta and ask.

here lets ask chuck hawk....
