Short video from last weekends machine gun shoot.

Hey all-

Thought I would share some of the fun from last weekends shoot.

I was there for a very short time but my lovely wife got some good footage of me, and I got some good footage of her.

The opening scene is of her shooting her Mini-14. Maybe I am biased but there is something really hot about a curly headed brunette blasting away at a machine gun shoot and apparently enjoying it!

The next scene is of me on an original WWI (!!DROOL!!) BAR. I shoot ten rounds on the slow gas setting then 10 rounds on the fast setting. I have GOT to find a way to afford a BAR. Anyway, no footage available but...... My wife ran a magazine through the BAR and dang if she didn't have a HUGE grin on her face when finished that 20 rounds off. I also have to add that 20 rounds of full auto .30-06 is a TREMENDOUS amount of firepower. I cannot imagine being on the wrong end of this monster. A very formidable weapon even by today's standards.

Clip 3 is me dumping 30 rounds through my 7.5" M16 and clip 4 is me shooting bursts through my 7.5" M16.

Yep. My dad said that in Korea, the guys with the BARs' would sometimes try to fire 'em slow, mimicking a Garand to get the BG's to return fire---and then switch over to full auto when they found where the rounds were coming from!
