Greetings folks, our gun club has decided to get together and try to get some limited edition firearms made up. Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about this?

The order will be very small, no more than 50 I would guess, so we might have to get a block of firearms and have them laser etched or something. Any expereince out there from the forum members?

S&W's catalog used to have engraving services listed. They claimed that laser etching was inexpensive. You might have to go thru a distributor but they would be able to tell you the details.

The club I belong to has done this about 10 times over the last 20 years and not a single manufacturer would do it for less than 500 guns at a reasonable price. Not a problem for us, as we have around 1,000 members, and usually order from 600 to 800 guns.

You may have better luck with one of the big distributors, who often order special guns, but expect to see 450 more for sale in their next Shotgun News ad.
