Greetings,

I am writing a brief article to introduce shooters to the wonderful world of Enfield rifles. I plan to include a little history, along with the primary rifles that are available, and where to find further information. I'll use pictures of my No 4 Mk I* and 1917 "Enfield," but I'm also looking for public domain photos of other Enfields, especially the No 1 Mk III. I'm hoping some of you can point me to:

1.
Good, clear photos in books old enough to be in the public domain (pre-1923 publication/copyright date). Title and author info are enough; I'll get the books through interlibrary loan and pick them up at my local library.

OR

2.
Large, clear, public domain photos on government websites.

Many thanks in advance,
Bob
