I don't want this to become a political thread... the election is over and we need to work on our activism and our education of the populace.

To the question at hand: If the President-elect builds his civilian defense force, given that he has claimed it will be volunteer, will joining allow one to purchase NFA weapons as a "member of the militia" as defined by Obama and the Brady Bunch?

Not that I would join.... just curious as to the legality.
