I voted "definitely" but "somewhat" is an interesting choice, too!

I suppose it depends on your assumptions--the gun is stored properly, you know how to use it, etc.

Still leading, but we don't want to let off.

I don't know if anyone else had this happen but you I had to click the link to get the page to open. Then I had to copy the URL and paste it so votes wouldn't be tracked back here. So don't think the poll isn't there if you try to copy the links from this thread. Click the link and then copy the URL...

Voted

I am not sure what comparing the U.S. to other countries accomplishes honestly. Unless it is the unsaid "Guns are evil and America has to many" or something to that effect.

Hit it. But the 'net polls are always in our favor.

How about Paul/Palin in 2012?

Would you read a book co-authored by William Shakespeare and 50 cent?

How can there even be a not at all answer, these are the people that cry the most when they are there family members come into harms way and they dont have a firearm to protect themselves.

I voted definitely of course. I've had guns in the house for 36 years, properly secured whilst my kids were growing up. We're all still alive and well!

Such hard decisions for the 2012 ticket:

1. Nugent / Paul
2. Paul / Nugent
3. Nugent / Palin
4. Palin / Nugent
5. Paul / Palin
6. Palin / Paul
7. Nugent / Ventura
8. Ventura / Palin
9. Palin / Norris
10. Norris / Crane
11. ...

you get the idea..... :D

I kinda like Palin / Nugent

Guns "in the home", eh? Where are we supposed to keep them - in the tool shed out back?

Bubba613
November 6, 2008, 10:33 AM
So 89 out of 100 Americans own a gun, eh. The question is, what can we do about the other 11??

Since they don't have guns, we can do whatever we want to them.:-)

The link didn't take me to a gun ownership poll

It asked...

How much do you enjoy getting gift cards?

I voted that I was in favor of gun ownership by using the "Don't Know" choice.

Same here. Maybe the poll is closed.

The poll is asking me which surface is most entertaining to watch tennis players compete on, haha. And I'd say Paul/"whomever-he-decides-would-be-the-best-VP" would be a great ticket for 2012.

That is the kind of people we need to run, I will vote for them.

Shouldn't the Swiss have almost a 100% rate of firearms in the home? After all, aren't almost ALL Swiss people armed for their military purposes? How is it that they rate ONLY a 46 out of 100 and we have 89 out of 100? Something is WAY off with the USA figures AGAIN!!!! Heck, according to some sources, the Swiss people have all sorts of military firearms, machineguns and so on in case of a time of war that they keep in their homes. It would be sort of like our militaries' reserve and national guard units keeping their M-4s and M-16s at home.

BullpupBen
December 3, 2008, 10:39 AM
Not all Swiss people, just those currently in the military or military reserve. That is to say most males 18-30, possibly females of the same age group, and a few older people who decided to keep their rifles.
