I have the opportunity to trade my NIB Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40 for a new Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x50 (comes with mounts and Butlercreek covers).
This is going on my deer rifle (7mm-08), which I shoot about 100 times a year for fun. I don't plan on buying another scope for many years.
The deal is I give up the Nikon scope plus a Swamp Rat Ratmandu (worth at least $150) plus a RAT Cutlery RC-4 ($100). Is the Leupold worth $250 more than the Nikon? I have to answer by the morning.
