Hello All,
Has anyone heard of, or used at one time, Barnaul Ammunition?
I saw it for sale at Sportsmans Guide and wanted to get some opinions.
Thanks.

It's good stuff. I use it in my AR and AKs. Better than Wolf by far.

I would almost call it "match grade". Not really, but it IS much better than Wolf. I buy mine from Ammunition To Go.

Great, I will check ammunition to go and see how their price compares. They are in Texas so I think I have to pay sales tax.

I just bought some Barnaul in 7.62x39, so I'll find out.
By the way, welcome to THR!

I picked up a couple cases on 62 grain .223, shot through one case already without a hitch. It sucks not having the brass to reload, but at the price I paid, it wasn't worth it to buy brass cased ammo.
I took the ammo to an Appleseed shoot with a course of fire out to 400 yards with my iron sighted AR-15, and, well, the ammo is more accurate than I am.
