Use any saddle soap to clean the outside and silicone spray or KG leather-kote for the inside.

LEXOL LEATHER CONDITIONER AND CLEANER ON OUTSIDE AND SMALL AMOUNT OF SILICONE SPRAY ON INSIDE.

NONE OF THE ABOVE-saddle soap and Lexol will soften and ruin a good holster. I recommend a good carnuba based paste wax. Like the guy said-"hear me now or believe me later".

Plain old Kiwi shoe polish does wonderous things keeping leather water resistant and shiny. Shoe polish has wax it in. Mind you, I don't know if Kiwi is available Stateside, but any good shoe polish will do. Just be sure to polish it until the leather is dry or you'll have a lovely stain on your shirt that won't come out easily.

NEITHER SADDLE SOAP OR LEXOL WILL SOFTEN LEATHER IF USED PROPERLY.........ONLY NEATSFOOT OIL WILL SOFTEN LEATHER TO THE POINT IT WILL BE LIKE A LIMP RAG!

Rusty Sherrick’s Hyde-Glyde has worked for me to keep my leather looking nice and new. Just rub on the exterior of your holster and then buff it out.

Lexol,
Have used in the past for other leather needs. Since Tandy's (tm) went out around here hadn't seen or heard of Lexol for a bit. Oh well, that's why we have internet huh ?
Thanks for reminder.

re1973,
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND LEXOL AT ANY FAM STORE OR SADDLE SHOP.
FYI, LEXOL IS WHAT GALCO RECOMENDS FOR THEIR LEATHER GOODS.
