costa rica?

my brother and i were talking about the results of our recent presidential election. he said he was so disapointed, if it were not for family, he would pack it up and move to costa rica! well, the seed is starting to sprout. does anybody know what kind of gun laws there are in costa rica?

I have been there 6 times since 1988.
Lovely country,great people,easy for an American to get permanent residency.
But difficult on gun carry.
I recommend next door Guatemala,cheaper,much more gun friendly,carry permits are possible and much less expensive.A little more dangerous but who's counting?
8 trips there.
The Lake Atitlan area is filled with gringos,many gun toting.
This is the way I would go,mooose, if you are really serious about emigrating.
