was browsing CMMG and saw it. I've never really heard of it until now.

Does anyone have any info on how these hold up to the other types of barrels? Is there any significant performance difference? Or is it more of a weight/balance issue compared to lighter or heavier barrels?

Mid-weight 'recce' barrels became all the rage about 3-4 years ago, as best I can recall. They were favored by multi-gun gamers, because they held up well to long-ish strings of fire and yet were better balanced than true HBARs.

I personally am a huge fan of the CMMG pencil (lightweight) middie barrels.
