Hello Everyone,
Has anyone tried the multi-round baseplate extensions for the Glock made by Taylor Freelance, Arredondo, Grams Engineering, and Dawson?
If you have, how reliable and durable did they prove to be?
FYI...this is for a Glock 20.
Thanks for the input.

I've used the +2 from Glock and the +1 from Pearce reliably.

I have used the Arredondo extensions with 17 round mags in a G34 with no problems.

Only ones I've used is the Glockmeister +5s for 9mm. Very secure and they use the stock floorplate which I like.

I have used Scherer and they SUCKED. They were not secure at all.

I've been using two of the +2's on my G21 mags for a few years now but danged if I can remember what brand they are. They are very secure and have never been a source of trouble.
They say "+2" on the very bottom.

One thing to watch for - some of the extensions are not very secure if the magazine is dropped during reloading. At LFI and Thunder Ranch, I've watched a shooter drop a mag with such an extension and it came apart at the base, scattering spring, follower and remaining rounds across the range.

I've also used the +2 for many years with no problems. I have also found out that you can put a +2 on a Glock 27 .40S&W 9 round magazine and raise it to 10 rounds (and 11 rounds will not fit, so it's still legal) plus giving you the extra grip length.

I bought a nfml 15 round mag for my glock 20 that already had a grams +5 extension on it. Very solid item as it sits and I have never bothered to take it apart. It works well and I plan to buy a couple more for my christmas presents to me, myself, and I.
I did a lot of research on extensions and while grams can easily be the most expensive they also have few if any problems. Usually the problems were caused by a poor mag body that the extension was attached too.
I also have to say, 21 rounds of 10mm in a glock 20 is really fun to unload once you get decent at doing double taps. I use it for pure fun, all the research I did was on competition forums on other boards.
