i need to apply bluing to my weapon any help?

hello all
i was buffing some rust off a shotgun and it looks like a bit of the bluing came with it, what is the proper way to re apply bluing.

Brownell's Oxphalo blue is probably the best, but I imagine you will have some trouble blending to match the original color.

Try Brownell's Oxpho blue and apply it with 0000 steel wool. It should blend pretty well.
