My brother and I both shoot Kimbers and are looking to put tritium night sights on them. Who has them, adjustable/fixed, what you like/don't like, brand, you know the whole nine yards.

Kimber offers their own fixed night sights (probably the same tritium vials as meprolight). My TLE came outfitted with factory night sights and I really like them. Adjustable? I believe Meprolight also makes a version (Trijicon most likely does also).

As we speak Novak's is installing adjustible night sights on one of my Commanders. They are good people and have reasonable prices. http://www.novaksights.com/

If I am not mistaken Kimber has a proprietary dove tail on there guns. So only there night sites fit. You can put on Novack sites on if you have new dove tails in the gun.

I have two Kimbers with the Meprolights that came on them.

Front sight burned out on one of them. They replaced it with no hassle.

I like the sights a little better than Novaks. But thats just me.

I have had 5 sets of Trijicon sights on several of my guns & they were all long lasting & trouble free. I also have limited experience w/ adjustable MMCs. I like them, but only in the green...the other colors are just a little tougher to pick up when you need them.

I checked with my local Kimber dealer http://www.tomandjoesfirearms.com and all Kimber's have a Nowlin dovetail for there sights.
