although you may not have seen it printed in your local newspaper (even though their abililty to publish depends on Article 1), nor heard it touted by the Government (which exists only in sufferance of our approval), today, September 17, is Constitution Day.

Since we are all supporters of this great document and the rights it guarantees, I thought you'd like to know.

No mention of it in 2 different calendars.

Oh... we don't have a constitution, we have "politicians", so, we should have a "Politicians-Day".

I've been listening to the news for about an hour, and I've heard no mention of it being Conctitution day. Funny though, my wife was watching Univision (she's from Panama and watches the Spanish stations), and they were talking about it!

It's also the anniversary of the National Security Act of 1947, which established the National Security Council, CIA, merged the War Dept and Navy Dept into a single Dept of Defense under the Secretary of Defense, and created the Dept of the Air Force.
