Jack....

It may work well on an 870 or, shudder,on a ChiCom clonegun, but the location of the safety on the Mossbergs precludes fast operation. IMO, you should give it a pass.

I would also pass on that...

Tried a buddy's shotgun with that 'vertical front end'. Wasn't toooo bad with standard loads and short buckshot, but when I tried it with MY favorite buckshot (3" Mag #4 Buck), well lets say I thought I had sheared off my left thumb. Was almost 3 weeks before I could fully grip stuff left-handed again.
