I'd like to know year of manu. of this lil bolt action 22. Or at least narrow it down a bit. Thanks.

I still have my first ever rifle, the Springfield-marked version of this one. If yours has no S/N (as mine doesn't), then you can be sure it's pre GCA '68.

I need the threaded knob, that is the grip, to cock the rifle. Where can someone get a part for this Stevens 15A rifle.

I've got one, but have no idea how to tell you how old it is. Bump for curiosity's sake.

The Savage/Stevens/Springfield 15 has been made since the 1930s. The 15A was an improved model and made since 1949 to 1969. I don't know of any way of dating a 15A to a year. E-Gunparts ( Numrich Gun Parts Corp. ) did have some parts for the 15A including the bolt. Check with them. BTW These are wonderful strong little guns, and more accurate that they have a right to me. I could tell stories of how accurate they are but that would seem too much like bragging. :p

I picked one of these lil rifles today at a garage sale. I am thinking it will make a nice lil squirrel gun.
