i just got a 6" barrel Ruger 357 mag for $515 brand new

no, i'm not left handed.
Anyone know a good small scope to go with this thing? I'm a revolver noob. Havent even shot it yet. Will try it out this weekend at the range! :evil::D
For some reason, there is this brownish color inside the whole barrel. Thought it was rust, but did not come off when i ran the brush down the barrel like 4 times. Ran a snack down the barrel and nothing. Maybe the inside suppose to look like this?
