I just got my jack slide from galco today. This is probably the most concealable rig I've tried for my 1911. The belt running outside the holster tucks in tight. Drawing is quick but re-holstering is a bit of a pain because it does collapse a little when the weapon is drawn.

I'm glad to hear that. I've never owned a Galco but have a Galco PLE Paddle holster on order for my Sig P220. I hope that I'll be as satisfied with it as your are with your Jack Slide.:)

What gun are you using with this holster?

I've carried my Glock 36 in one for years. I have other holsters for it but seldom ever use them. The jak-slide is quick, easy, and very concealable.
