You know, Class III. Sawed-off shotgun, full-auto, silencer?

LEGAL criteria met and all that. Let's not talk about the bubba'd 10/22 that runs full-auto when nobody is looking.

I guess not . . .

How about something in a bolt action, scoped, range beyond 300 yds?

You asked at 1:23AM, waited less than an hour, and assumed no one would answer? :scrutiny:

I have NFA items. Silencers, DDs, SBRs, SBSs, and fairly soon I may be getting an MG (STEN Mk. 2)

I have videos up on YouTube. Link (http://www.youtube.com/user/elitearbor).

I'll take a picture in a little while, I'll need to really dig to get everything out of the safes...

EDIT: Here you go.

I own 2 silencers. A Tac-65 in 22lr & a Gemtech m4-02 in .223. I've also been looking at a destructive device http://www.anzioironworks.com/20MM-TAKE-DOWN-RIFLE.htm

Yes I do.

Recoil isn't bothersome as long as you hold it right.

And then asks who owns any "Bolt Action, scoped, range beyond 300 yards" (i.e. Sniper) rifles.

Although most any deer rifle would qualify.

The second I looked at that Mosin, everything started hurting at the thought of shooting it.

My question to you would be why don't you? It is not rocket science after 1986 it just costs a lot more for MGs, but other Title 2 firearms have not really changed much. Normal ID photo, fingerprint cards and FBI background check after you get your local CLEO to sign off. $200. Tax per item is a really good deal still.

And as far as a bolt action, scoped and range beyond 300 yards; unless you are old and grey like me you don't need a scope under 200 yards and ALL good caliber deer rifles are good for at lest 400 yards. Heavy barreled, larger caliber, scoped rifles should be good to 1000 yards.

For me it's too much BS for a few inches of non-existent barrel.

For me, I'd rather watch a youtube of YOU shooting a cut off rifle than trying that stunt myself. Even if the things weren't burdened with a lot of paperwork, I can't see it for myself.

Let's try hard not to patronize me. High Road is not the only gun forum online. I've been shooting seriously since 1957 -- when I was nine yrs old.

NRA Life Member since about 1966, a grad. present.

That's right, any "deer rifle." This site seems mostly populated with Mall Ninjas and Walter Mittys. I'm going to guess that the demographic in here is 26 yrs old, single male, owns about a half dozen firearms -- mostly military surplus.

That's what I see here.

I'm just curious if anyone owns anything besides "EBR"

As if the government isn't already well aware of what I own. All of my NFA items are legal and I possess a stamp for each. :)

Yep, but they're too dang expensive. I stick to the non-explosive type.

I own a collection of pre-1900 cartridge rifles, to inclue a Martini-Henry, a Beaumont-Vitali, and a Vetterli. Oh, and for the record? I'm 22, not 26. ;)

uhh, no. the post times are timestamped from server time, and are not affected at all by use of proxy, etc. the forum changes the displayed time based on your chosen timezone settings, so although the poster you referenced mentioned "1:23AM", it showed as "2:23AM" for me, perhaps something different for you depending on your selected timezone -- but the fact is that the time difference from the first to second post was indeed ~38minutes.

Also, if you need someone to help you shoot all your ammo for those guns, I could probably drive out haha

Is the scope mandatory? I have a K-31 rifle that shoots rather nicely, sans scope. If there was a way for me to put an ACOG on it I would be in hog heaven (and deep doo doo with the wife) ;)

Scout mounts look like they are too far away for a proper eye relief on the ACOG, unfortunately.

I do not own any class III firearms, but am helping a friend to sell his. Link (http://thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=399697)

Yep, this was the day I bought the gun and wanted to add something than just the rifle.

Haven't put it to a controlled test to see how well it shoots (will get to it eventually), but so far it seems to shoot where I want it.

Class, can you say "agent provocateur?"

I know how this works. You get a few people to say they own military grade weapons then take the pics and info to the next bloc party. You then reaffirm to each other what warmongering, running-dog capitalist lackeys gun owners are and how you are the ultimate arbiters of all things right and proper. Then you go and round out the evening by ambushing some poor grandmother wearing a fur coat and throwing blood on her. No thanks. You can have my gun info when you pry it from my cold dead ISP.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm late to my evening lurk. Tonight I'm drawing fire on a PETA forum. Last week I found out who let the dogs out and that Alicia Silverstone gobbles turkey legs.

Back atcha.

And it's good to be a 26 year old male mall ninja EBR owning demographic. My mom said it was OK.
