About a month ago I opened a box of Federal Cartridge's American Eagle brand of 9mm FMJ and found a defective round. See the thread here. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35852

Well, I called their toll-free customer service number and also e-mailed them a photo of the defective round. It took them a month but today I received a nice little package with a box of complimentary replacement ammo.:) It's nice to see that a company still stands behind it's product or makes good when a problem is found. At the very least I got a free box of ammo for one bad bullet. I'll take that.

People never lie so much as after a hunt, during a war, or before an election. - Otto von Bismarck

I'm thinking we may have to add "before a war" considering recent history. I'm sure Bismarck would agree.

Now why didn't I do that? I remember getting issued a box of ammo and there was one with an upside down primer. Nah, the ammo was free so there really wasn't grounds to complain.
