I was about 12 years old when I got this 410 pack shotgun and now am 45. No model or serial # and I also don't know who made this gun. If someone can help me find out something about this gun I would appreciate it. At the time I lived in Ohio if that helps.

Chris, it looks like you have a Garcia Bronco shotgun. These were made from about 1968-1978 and sold by Firearms International and later by Garcia.

Yes it is. It was my first gun. I lived in Ohio in the sticks and me and my old dog would go hunting rabbit, squirrel and deer. I never shot a deer with it but it has taken to many squirrels and rabbit to count. It was left in the woods on several occasions until I carried my old dog home because I forgot to trim the hair between the pads of his feet and the snow would turn to ice and he couldn't walk anymore. After getting Tippy home I would turn right around and go back for my gun. Many fond memories goes with this old gun. Thank you guys so much for a great forum. Chris

These were also marketed as the Bauer Rabbit.
There was a single-shot .22 also.
I bought a Bronco just after high school and a .22 many years later.
I never did see a takedown version, however.
Shotgun News did an article on these some years ago.

I have one of these as well, in working near mint condition. They're great little guns that are built a lot more solidly than you would think.

-I know, this is an old post, but worth bumping up because of the uniqueness of these firearms.

Depending on what is wrong with it, I have parts for the G-Bronco in .410. Gosh, I have been searching for one of these for myself for years now. Very hard to come by as they are either loved or hated and abused.

I would love to find the /22lr or .22mag / .410 combo.

It is a for certain a Rossi - Garcia Bronco. I have two extra sets of barrels for it, one in .410 and one in 20 ga (yes the 20 ga barrels fit the .410 frame.) . They in the single barrel model were all take down. The Combo's were not a take down per say, but could be seperated not too hard.

If anyone has one they want to sell, let me know.....
