I found a stainless Thompson Auto-Ordnance 1911 .45 pistol that looks in very nice condition. I've heard they can be good or bad- what should I look for? This one looks to be 95% or better overall, looks hardly used. The barrel is not stainless, however.

Bear in mind this would be my FIRST 1911 pistol ever and I know little about the platform- I did check to make sure nobody took Mr. Dremel to the feedramp and it looks untouched. One Colt magazine with it. Trigger feels good, too.

Good for under $400?
