53gr tsx in 1in14 22-250

anyone load or shoot a 53 grain barnes tsx in a 1in14 twist 22-250. recomends a 1in12

I was wondering what the affects would be on accuracy.

I tried them in my CZ which is a 1:14. They were no bueno. Just too long. With multiplepowders they shot about 4" groups @ 100 yards. 52 gr. hollowpoints shoot 1/2". Now, that being said a friend of mine recently let me shoot a few rounds using the Barnes using Varget (which I had not tried) and they were much better, about an inch if I recall. Still not great though. The 1:12 recommendation is definitely valid.
