I bought a Ithaca 500 20ga over and under this weekend at the gunshow but I do not know what choke the barrels are. I have looked all over the gun and can not find a stamp indicating what the barrels are. Does anyone else have one that can help me find it.

I don't know about the markings, but according to old listings, if it has 26" barrels they are probably choked improved cylinder and modified and if they are 28", the chokes are probably modified and full.

If you take the barrel off the receiver, it should be marked with the choke constriction on the right side just below the front of the ejector bar. I can pull the camera out this evening after work, if you are still unable to locate the marking.
