S&W Sigma, not quite right...

I have a S&W Sigma 9VE and the trigger makes a grinding noise. If I push the trigger bar down no noise so it's coming from the sear housing block assembly. Is this normal? The rear sight is way off center, about 3/32" to the left, is that normal? The other problem is light primer strikes 7 in 400 rounds and 2 FTF's (assorted ammo). I'm concerned about reliabilty since it is my only pistol and carry weapon. It's about a month old and my experience is limited with semi-auto pistols so any input before I send it to S&W would be appriciated.

It needs to go back to S&W. Call them up and tell them about the light primer strikes and they will send you a paid shipping label. Their customer service is excellent and you should have it back fairly quickly. Buy a 642 to tide you over ;-)
