I apologize if this has been discussed ad nauseum elsewhere. Any thoughts about the relative value of these two firearms? It is hard to figure out how to compare these two guns, but my general sense is that Springfield costs a bit more ($100-$200) for comparable characteristics.
My only reluctance to purchase a Kimber is that I have the cheapo GI Springfield which I love and I am a brand loyalist for some reason. Does anyone know if the increase in cost = greater value for the Springfield in terms of components and quality of construction? Thanks.
