place i work has relocated me again, and i really dont have a place to go shoot anymore, a friend told me about the cove in gore va, its about 15 minutes away from me, i was just wondering if any of you guys have been there, and if so, what kind of regulations do they have? my friend said its unmanned and theres no regulation, but, i mean, theres always SOME regulation right? (i got a case of tannerite i havent had a chance to shoot yet and its been sitting for a couple months now)

Yes, I have been there. Gun safety depends upon who is there.

The short range is filled with shot up appliances, bottles, and trash. The long range is about 70-80 yards and is OK. There's a new pistol area that was really clean when I went, but that was last year. It's probably full of crud.

It's BYO everything. There are no stands or targets.

Your car needs to be high enough to navigate VERY rough and narrow roads to get to the range. If it's remotely wet, a Honda Civic won't make it up the small mountain.
