There are lots of USPSA, IDPA and Steel Matches in and around Vegas. Every Sunday and 2 Saturdays a month at either Desert Sportman's (out near Red Rock) or Desert Lakes Shooting Range out near Boulder City. Desert Lakes is open to the public, as is the Boulder City shooting range. Both are outdoor ranges with private bays. Desert Sportsman's is a private range- only open for matches. This city has a big gun culture, with a lot of serious shooters.
