First Shotgun ordered

Well, ok, not really my FIRST shotgun, but my first one in a lonnnnggg time. :) Previously I had a single-shot H&R 20 gauge when I was a kid, and I have an old Remington 31 my great-uncle owned (in pieces, as multiple internal parts were found to be cracked/broken - gotta get some replacement parts sometime).

After much thought, I decided to order (via a small FFL holder I've been working with), a Remington 870 Police model. 18" barrel, blued, wood stocks. This is going to be a HD and "play" shotgun ("play" as in probably some skeet here and there, maybe some 3-gun, we'll see).

Thanks to everyone that put up with my questions, and thanks for all the great info I waded through on this (and other) boards!

I'm sure once I get it I'll have more questions. :)

I've ordered a side saddle for it, but I'm holding off on a mag extension until I shoot it a bit and decide if I need it or not.

Enjoy! Hold off on the bellsnwhistles and spend money on ammo, and range fees.
When the thing feels like a body part, then you'll know what will enhance its ability to perform a mission, or not.
