Funny story on this deer. My Brother has a bait pile in his yard, which butts up against 4000 acres of park land. While getting dressed to go to the blind, he saw this deer on the bait pile. Well the deer kept him from going out, but after he moved off, my Brother got a shot at a little smaller buck.

It looks like your brother had just enough clearance over the blind to take a shot right out of his window with a gun instead of the camera. I wouldn't advocate doing that but at least he got to shoot it with the camera instead.
Just look at the size of the beams and that neck roast!

I'm located in the middle of a city, same place for ~18 years. Once years ago I went outside and there was a deer in my backyard which is small & fenced in. The deer wanted out so it hooked it's front legs up over the top of the 5+ foot stockade fence and with a quick hop it scrambled up & over it into the neighbor's yard.
I've seen and shot enough deer to know how powerful they are.
The deer pictured could probably hop over that fence in the background from a dead standstill in the blink of an eye if he wanted to...and he'd be gone in a flash.
And the deer also seems to be looking right at somebody!
