A Forest Grove, Oregon man died after a confrontation with police.

Police responding to a suicide call were met by a man with a handgun who later grabbed a rifle and started shooting, said Rick LaManna, a spokesman for the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

After the man starting shooting, police fired back, LaManna said.

A medical examiner and a chaplain both came to the scene of the incident, he said. The man's name has not released.

It's too bad the suicidal nutcases don't spend more time shooting themselves and less shooting at responding officers. :(
