Black Tip .30-06, Green Tip 5.56 - best targets?

So, what's the most amusing/impressive target you've shot with AP .30-06?

What about 5.56 Penetrators?

Nothing yet, except a large rock about 700 yards away. But I've got 4-5 boxes of '06 AP, and I just last night scored two decent-sized sheets of 5/16" steel plate for free, so there's hope! They're big enough that I can cut one in half and use one piece at the 600 yard line.

Ive shot up more than a few cars with the green tip when I was in the Army. Did very well for the small size.

I hit a baseball from 200 yards. Pretty un-eventful. Ego booster but not the explosion of twine I was looking for

If you're looking for explosions, you need API, Armor Piercing Incendiary, or HEI, High Explosive Incendiary.
