Please tell me that most of you, with iPods, follow the Gun Rights Radio network. I found these not long ago and have been listening to them since I prefer talk radio to music during the commute to and from work. Anyway, I have been listening to those and 'The Survival Podcast' and found all of them to be very informative and entertaining at the same time. Are there any other THR'ers who tune in, or not so much?

Must say I've never heard of it.

I do listen to Tom Gresham's show: http://www.guntalk.com/site.php

I tried listening to one pro-gun podcast, but it was so mind-numbingly dull, poorly recorded, and almost completely devoid of intelligent commentary, I deleted it and went back to my usual podcasts (WSJ, Jim Lehrer, Dan Carlin, BBC news, CATO, Bloomberg, The Street, etc.). I'll have to try the ones you mentioned - I don't think the one I tried was the same.

Downrange.TV (http://www.downrange.tv/) with Michael Bane has a good podcast. I listen to that one and Gunrights Network. I'd love to get turned on to others. I listen to them in bed in the evening while The Mrs. is watching Judge Judy on TV. It's the only thing that keeps me from throwing a brick through the tv.

Amen to that! I wanted a podcast that would give me shooting tips, gear reviews, and other useful info. Instead all I could find was rants against the antis and NRA blather done so unprofessionally it was unlistenable.

Add ProArms podcast to the list: http://proarms.podbean.com/. This one is more of a converstional nature, but given the participants (Strayer, Ayoob, et. al.), its a good listen.

Others are GunTalk w/ Tom Gresham, Downrange Radio w/ Michael Bane, and Practical Shooting Podcast by Matt Burkett. The latter switches rapidly between 3-gun/tactical competition and movie reviews of Tarran Butler. Actually, its pretty fun, but I haven't heard a new one in a while.

Other than Tom Gresham's radio show, these are podcasts, not reproductions of professional news or talk shows.

To each his own.

I generally find podcasts, like most talk radio, incredibly hard to stomach for any length of time. I've tried to lsten to Tom's show in the past, and while I'm sure it's well done it was still a podcast.

Nevertheless, y'all have spurred me to try again, and so I will. I had not heard of the ProArms 'cast and I've added it to my downloads.
