Couple years ago had that happen to me in the post office.
Blue haired flatlander hollerin "He has a gun".
She was pointin at an empty holster at my side.
Clerk told her I was ok and it was just a holster.
Good clerk.

Yep, not really normal per se'. I was attending my normal activities at home when I heard screams and saw a neighbor with a shotgun on his wife. I've shared this before, but the kids I got to my place and had the eldest call 911 , me, I'm at low ready with CCW , thnking 90 to nothing about what I'm into, kids in a safe place, and cops en- route. Naturally a neighbor yells 'he's got a gun" at both of us...then the cops, thankfuly, show up and yell " gun" I knew the cops, didn't really even consider them speak...err yelling at me.

'Nuther time when a customer yelled at another "customer"...undercover buddy of mine. He then gave her a real stern lesson as to why that is not a real good thing to blurt out in public. He was picking up a shotgun , inside a break-down case I'd kept secure for him whilst he had been away. She yelled at a case

While I was open carrying in MO, I walked into the neighborhood bar, left my piece locked in the car but still had the holster on. One of the resident bar flies hollers "We're all safe now, John Wayne just walked in!". Got a good laugh.

About 35 years ago I was working in a food store part time. One of my acquaintences was an undercover cop. He would dress out about 325 and just had shorts and a polo shirt on. To say he was "printing" would be an understatement. I walked up to the very young assistant manager and whispered "that guy has a gun". Can't believe his eyes got that big around. I let him stare, open mouthed, for about a minute and then said "oh wait, that's a cop from my church". It was nice to see the color come back into his face.:D

I heard that in my yard one day from a neighbor. Her Son's reply was "So what?" I wish I had a camera. Her face was priceless. She said something about calling the cops but they never showed up...

I think they were used to her calling and bitching about something. I think they started ignoring her over the little stuff.

Next time you’re at the supermarket and you see some cow scoop up a super size family pack of pig flesh, just yell out at the top of your lungs,

“OMIGOD!!! She’s got a pork chop!!!”

Yes, people are like, "Damn, look at those guns" and "Oh my god, Becky, look at his arms! He looks like one of those rap girl's boyfriends" when I wear a short-sleeved shirt :neener:

I have friends kid me (and sometimes pat me on the side :cuss: :banghead: ) and joke that I'm packing just because I happen to like guns.

Joke's on them :D
