I have been looking for a good carry holster for a 1911 auto for some time.
Tonight I decided on the Bianchi Carrylock.

I have been wearing it for a few hours with my 5" Star Super.
I am impressed.
I am 6'4" 315ish lbs and it disappears under a solid color sweatshirt.
The middle finger presses the release on the draw, and it has a latch that holds it by the trigger guard during carry.
It is a fast smooth draw, and for open carry, is a nice looking rig.
I bought this one to fit my wifes compact 1911... but my Star pokes thru and works flawlessly in it.
SO far it looks to be a great buy.
I will be getting one for my 5" 1911.
