Scroll down a bit. In addition to the states that have reciprocity agreements with, 22 additional states qualify for recognition. Arizona recognizes 28 states now.

Now if the rest of the states will come online like Arizona is doing.
I have 60 percent of the U.S. covered with the permits I have in my possession as of now. Would be nice to have it all covered.

That really kicks ??? since I have an AZ permit. Now more states will also recognize AZ permits because of this.

I have a map for Texas CHL holders. See my website:
http://www.boneville.net/TexasCHL
Most of the "grey" states on my map will not allow you to carry as a resident of almost any state (for example, Oregon does not issue NR permits, and they only recognize resident permits from a few surrounding states, so the only way to get the CHL is to live there. But if you do, some states like Texas won't issue you a NR permit because your home state already issues permits.)
I'm sure others can compile maps for other states - I will be happy to provide you with my "base" map of the USA if you want it - just AIM message me.

That's actually wrong. Oregon does not recognize out of state permits. The sheriff's can waive the requirements of residency for contigious state non-residents who has a business or other legitimate demonstrated need, meaning it's may issue for non-residents, and only then available for states that border Oregon.

According to this reference, I could carry in Arizona with my Massachusetts LTC (which is endorsed FOR ALL LAWFUL PURPOSES).

If one's driver's license is valid in all fifty states, I don't know why one's C.C.W. license shouldn't be, too.

Can you beleive, Janet Napolitano, an ex-Klinton appointee sighned this bill? It blows me away...that's the most pro-gun bill sighned by any AZ Gov. since Simington sighned the CCW bill. If she keeps it up, she'll get a lot of the Pro-gun vote next time. This has to be a first for a female Dem.

there are a few dems/libs out there that support gun rights. Sounds good to me! The more the merrier.

"Now if the rest of the states will come online like Arizona is doing."
I spent two years e-mailing and calling and talking to pro-gun AZ legislators telling them that what they needed instead of "reciprocity" was what I called, "unilateral recognition" which would lead to more "reciprocity" in the long run.
It fell on deaf ears because so many other gun bills were being considered. Then when I had nearly forgotten about it, this bill appears. I didn't know a thing about it.
I hope it works out as planned.

Cool.....now to get reciprocity with CA.
My CA ticket is firearm specific, by serial number. Don't like that.
My AZ ticket is good for anything I can legally own. Do like that.

keederdag,
This is one AZ voter who still has many differences with our Janet-Reno-Mini-Me governor. She shouldn't be counting my vote quite yet.

At first, I was curious why Az doesn't extend reciprocity to Id. After reading the Az law, I can understand. Whereas Idaho believes that a person who has completed all the legal stuff for a conviction, then his complete rights may be restored. Az doesn't believe this.
Ah well, just another State I won't be visiting.

Voting rights? Right to keep and bear arms? Concealed carry? All of it?

Yes, all of it; The whole shebang; The whole nine yards; The whole enchilada... Call it what you will.
There's more to Idaho than meets the eye.

NOW, maybe it'll do SOMETHING for us AZ residents, that worked to get it passed. The way things go we'll be lucky if about 1 state a year decides to ad us to their O.K. list.:cuss:

Who will likely extend reciprocity to AZ permits:
Florida
North Carolina
Colorado
North Dakota
Wyoming
I think also that Mississippi permits should be recognized by Arizona, but I need to do some further research on the law itself.
